How do I stop DMs from people I don't know?

Updated

Most trading scams start in a direct message. You can stop members of the Fulltilt server from DMing you, without leaving the server.

For the Fulltilt server only

  1. Open the Fulltilt server and tap or click the server name at the top.
  2. Choose Privacy Settings.
  3. Turn off Direct Messages.

For every server

  1. Open User Settings (the gear icon).
  2. Go to Privacy & Safety (in some versions, Content & Social).
  3. Turn off direct messages from server members.

Discord moves its settings around from time to time. If the names don't match, search Discord's help center for "direct message privacy".

Fulltilt staff will never DM you asking for money or account access. More in Watch out for scams and impersonators.
